St. John Vianney College Seminary has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
St. John Vianney is committed to providing opportunities for students to air their complaints and seek resolution. In addition to its Policy on Complaints and Appeals Procedures listed in its website (https://www.sjvcs.edu/about-us/policies), St. John Vianney College Seminary, through its participation in SARA (State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements) provides an additional level of accountability to protect and respond to the rights of distance learners.
Distance Students must follow the institutional complaint process provided by St. John Vianney College Seminary. If the student is not satisfied with the outcome, he/she may then contact the Commission for Independent Education:

Presupposing that the distance student has followed St. John Vianney College Seminary’s complaint process for the resolution of grievances and subsequently contacted the Commission, further recourse is available if the student is not satisfied with the the Commission’s decision. He or she may appeal the complaint to the Council by downloading, filling out and sending the following Complaint Form to FLSARAinfo@fldoe.org. The complaint must be within two (2) years of the incident about which the complaint is made. For instructions on filing a complaint with SARA, please visit the FL-SARA Complaint Process webpage. Please note that complaints related to grades or student conduct may not be appealed to FL-SARA.
